In the second quarter of Monday night's game in Boston, James slammed Terry. After a turnover by Boston, Norris Cole passed the ball to James to which he hammered down a one-handed dunk over Terry.

James was hit with a technical foul after the play for taunting, but the dunk was pretty much the talk of the night and the day after.

Nonetheless, the Miami Heat survived a career-high 43 points from Celtics forward Jeff Green. Paul Piece had 17 points, eight rebounds and eight assists, but not enough to shatter the Heat's winning streak.

"It means a lot to what we're trying to build - a tough-minded team on the road. It's a hostile environment," James said. "We grew again tonight, and that's big for our team."

James finished with 37 points, 12 assists and seven rebounds.

It is the first time the Heat have a won a regular-season game in Boston since April 2007, and Miami also ended Boston's 11-game home winning streak.

"We had to earn that one, no about question about it," Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said. "We didn't panic, but we did own it. ... You've got to stay the course. It's a 48-minute game, and you keep grinding away."

Boston led by as many as 17 in the first half, but it was 103-all when Miami got the ball with 33 seconds left in the fourth quarter. James gained possession of the ball, and ran down the shot clock before putting up a jumper from to take the lead.

"What they're doing is remarkable, because they're getting the best every night, from everybody," Celtics coach Doc Rivers said.. "They trust now. You don't want to get into a one-point game with them, because they have the ultimate trust in each other."
