'The Bachelor' Winner: Lauren Dishes On Ben's Imperfections After Engagement [VIDEO]
They're finally allowed to go public with their relationship, and the newest engaged Bachelor couple hasn't hesitated to point out some of the flaws in their relationship.
Ben Higgins asked Lauren Bushnell to marry him during The Bachelor's season 20 finale after he sent JoJo Fletcher packing, and now that the couple—who have been secretly engaged for months since the season wrapped last fall—have officially gone public, the pet peeves they have with one another are also coming out.
Bushnell admitted that while she loves her fiance, there are some things he does that have annoyed her, though she isn't going to let her pet peeves ruin her happiness with Higgins.
"Apparently I'm a loud breather," Higgins says.
"And he's a morning person. I'm a nothing before 9 a.m. girl," Bushnell adds. "I need coffee immediately before I have a conversation with anybody. And he wakes up cheery and wanting to chitchat!"
In an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! after the show aired, Higgins also revealed that his nightly prayer has also caused some consternation for Bushnell as she tries to sleep—and she has had to chastise him for praying too loudly at times.
However, while the pet peeves surfacing have caused a few minor issues for the pair, they both admit they are excited to start their future together, first as an engaged couple, and eventually, as husband and wife, which starts with Bushnell planning to move to Denver to be with her man.
"It made the most sense for me to move," Bushnell says in the People interview. "And of course Ben, being the sweetest guy, was like, 'If you don't like it, we can move!' I'm more than excited. We're starting a life together."
And it appears Higgins is not only also looking forward to a future with Bushnell, but he's grateful that the show brought them together.
"Now that I'm out of that world and we're together and looking at life from here on out, it's a lot easier," Higgins says. "[The Bachelor] led me to this woman who I love deeply. She is the only woman I'll love from now on."
