Christina Aguilera may have taken a break from The Voice for one season but she still throws jabs at the other mentors.

Aguilera sent a tweet to Blake Shelton and Adam Levine telling them to be on their best behavior when season 4 begins on March 25.

"I know how you boys can get," Aguilera tweeted Monday, "so watch (the) locker room humor and treat Shakira like lady she is on (the) new The Voice."

Aguilera and Cee-Lo Green will not appear in the reality show's fourth season when it premieres next week. Aguilera released her seventh album, Lotus, in November of 2012. The show's original mentors are expected to return for season 5 in September.

Aguilera threw an extra jab at Levine, whom she frequently quarreled with in the show's previous seasons, because he recently celebrated his 34th birthday.

"I know you'll be whipping out tequila shots tonight. You turn 40, right? Hehe," Aguilera tweeted to Levine. "You know I'll always bust your balls."

Aguilera is having success with Pitbull's latest dance pop single Feel This Moment, which she lends her guest vocals on. The new season of The Voice kicks off this Monday, March 25, on NBC.
