He's never been shy about his distaste for made up stories about his life in the tabloids, but Blake Shelton has officially proven that one story in particular is not one he is just shrugging off.

In Touch Magazine ran a cover story last September which claimed that following his divorce from Miranda Lambert back in July, he had hit rock bottom, and even alleged he had struggled with both fidelity and sobriety issues during his marriage. The story also claimed he was headed to rehab to deal with his problems.

Not long after the story, Shelton spoke out against it, saying he hadn't been in rehab and was actually fine, even joking that the story must be referring to his alter ego.

"I'm in a good place, and I wasn't, but I am now. And it's amazing how quickly life can turn around for you. I've had some pretty cool things in recent times that have happened and I'm loving it," he said at the time. "I'm good. I'm not in rehab. I've got to pick up a magazine from time to time to see what's going on with my alter ego I guess."

He later filed the defamation lawsuit against the magazine.

Now, in a sworn declaration from the lawsuit which was obtained by TMZ, Shelton refutes several of the claims in the story and points out several holes as well, including that he'd never been to rehab, had never hit rock bottom, did not drink excessively or drink vodka before 11 AM, was never unable to do his job on The Voice, did not slur his words or stumble while drunk, or urinate on a mailbox.

He also said that the claims he was unfaithful to Lambert was also false, saying "My ex-wife Miranda Lambert did not catch me with a bunch of naked women in our Tennessee home."

Shelton has not spoken out about the lawsuit on social media.
