March Madness has caused Hawaii Five-0 to pull a disappearing act.

CBS' Friday night trip to paradise is on a brief hiatus, but fans won't be left out in the cold for long. It won't be long before college basketball fades into the background for another year, and McGarrett's (Alex O'Loughlin) team will return in full force to fill the void.

Scheduled to re-enter the line up on April 1, Hawaii Five-0 will quickly repay viewers for their patience as Danno (Scott Caan) and his kids embark on an epic car-jacking adventure during "Kanaka Hahai (The Hunter)." When the camaro is stolen during a day out with Grace (Teilor Grubbs) and little Charles, Detective Williams will commandeer a bus as he races to catch the culprits.

"[The kids are] not really in jeopardy, but they get in a situation where they end up having their car stolen," showrunner Peter M. Lenkov told TV Line. "They go to spend a quality day with their dad and their car gets stolen for a robbery, and they chase the car... It's a fun story that brings him closer together with his kids."

Elsewhere, McGarrett and Chin (Daniel Dae Kim) will have their hands full as they uncover "a deadly slave trade operating aboard an illegal fishing vessel."

One week later on April 8, Five-0 will turn its attention to Grover (Chi McBride) during "Malama Ka Po'e (Care For One's People)." The cop's past in the Windy City will put his family in jeopardy when a Chicago mobster comes to Oahu looking for payback.

"A case from 15 years ago forces Grover to take his family on the run when a dangerous mob boss tracks him down to seek revenge," CBS teased.
