There is a lot of buzz around Amanda Marcum-Enfield, wife of head coach Andy Enfield of Florida Gulf Coast University.

But why exactly is Amanda in the spotlight?

Amanda is a supermodel who has once graced the cover of Maxim's magazine back in February 2003. She has appeared in the pages of Elle and Vogue, and has been seen in ads for Victoria's Secret and Armani.

She is also believed to be the hottest NCAA tournament coach's wife.

The couple met back in 2003 when Andy offered to drive Amanda to a NCAA tournament game in Boston where Oklahoma State was playing. Six months later the couple got married.

"I thought he looked like a great driver that would give me a free ride," Amanda said jokingly. "And we had lots of things in common-especially sports-and we talked and talked about that. I thought he was really fun and very confident."

Amanda decided to give up modeling fulltime when Andy, who began as an entrepreneur, shifted his focus to college basketball in 2011. The model said one of the first things she noticed about Andy was the career he established for himself.

"He's very modest about it. I found those things out about him from other people instead of him bragging. I thought that was very impressive and said a lot about his character," she said.

Amanda will most likely be cheering for her husband on Friday when FGCU plays Georgetown because it turns out she is a huge basketball fan.

"We had lots of things in common - especially sports - and we talked and talked about that," Amanda told the Naples Daily News in April 2011. "I'm a sucker for sports guys, obviously."

Basketball fans are betting that cameras will focus more on Amanda than on the game. If that happens, Amanda could become the next Katherine Webb, Miss Alabama USA 2012, who stole the limelight during the BCS National Championship after cameras repeatedly focused on her and sports commentators kept talking about her beauty throughout the game.
