The next installment of Fast and Furious will be revving things up with more woman power as per reports.

According to the latest reports, Fast and Furious 8 might be getting a main female villain this time around, and to make things more exciting, Charlize Theron is rumored to be under consideration for the part.

This development coupled with previous suggestions made my cast members like Michelle Rodriguez makes it likely that the movie might be taking a more feminist approach with the eighth installment.

In fact, even talk of Helen Mirren's interest in the movies and Vin Diesel suggesting that they would love to have her on board adds to this feminist angle. Additionally, there have been rumors of bringing Eva Mendes back as Agent Fuentes (2 Fast 2 Furious). Ronda Rousey has also spoken about picking a new opponent for Fast and Furious 8.

In an interview with MTV, when asked who she thought would make for a strong enemy in the next installment, Rousey picked someone from her professional realm.

"Joanna [Jedrzejczyk]. She's a chick who just won the 115-pound belt," Rousey said. "She's really tiny and skinny, but she's such a little ninja! I think it would be a such a cool addition—someone who looks really unassuming. I know I look good in a Herve Leger dress, but I also look like I could still kill you in it, and Joanna doesn't!"

The talk of Theron probably joining the crew is very interesting, as even Rodriguez had previously given Mad Max Fury Road as setting an example for the route Fast and Furious 8 should take.

Speaking to Metro, the actress cautioned that the movie shouldn't become overly feminist so as to lose a large swathe of the audience and be labelled in any way.

"I think it's cute but you do lose a lot of audience when you specialise like that. It's kind of like a black organisation or Latino organisation making content just for Latinos or blacks. It's stupid. You know what I mean?" she said.

Her suggestion was a more holistic approach, citing Mad Max as an example.

"If I were ever to do it, I think you have to be all encompassing. You have to think holistically and look for the broader audiences. And I don't like hating on guys to make women powerful," she said. "I think you can do both. Mad Max is proof of that."
