Kate Middleton Impersonator PHOTOS: Heidi Agan Purchased Fake Baby Bump To Look Like Duchess of Cambridge
Heidi Agan's job for a living is a Kate Middleton impersonator. Agan, who recently quit her waitressing job last May after repeatedly being told by customers that she looked so much like the Duchess of Cambridge recently purchased her very own baby bump to stay current with the Duchess of Cambride as she embarks on her stages of pregnancy.
"As Kate grows, I will too--to be authentic I thought it was important. She reportedly bought a number of belly prosthetics to recreate the exact look of Middleton.
"It's difficult at the moment as she's not big enough yet to change her entire wardrobe so it's difficult to see how she's' going to dress it," she said.
The former waitress' salary increased from waiting tables, commanding almost $1000 per appearance as a look-a-like of Prince William's wife.
She travels across the UK and around the world to make appearances as a royal doppelganger.
"To have done 12 years of something you know and then to leap into an industry that gives with one hand and takes with another is difficult, but I'm just really happy and feel blessed that I did," she said.
Since taking the entertainment industry by storm, Agan has made regular television, radio, corporate and newspaper appearances as the Duchess.
Agan, 32 has appeared in clothing that Middleton has made trendy, including the blue Issa dress Middleton wore when she and Prince William announced their engagement in 2010. Agan also wore a replica of the Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen dress Middleton wore on her wedding day in April 2011.
The former waitress has two children and told BBC News that she follows social media news about Middleton so that her own wardrobe matches the Duchess', and practices "her look" daily. Agan said that she has to get the clothes, study mannerisms, the way she stands up and even how she interacts with Prince Williams.
"The most expensive shoes I've bought as Kate were about £200, the dress was about £300 - which I don't think is that bad considering her original evening wedding dress by Alexander McQueen would have cost tens of thousands of pounds."
