'Batman v Superman' Jesse Eisenberg: Actor Tells Hilariously Awkward Story About General Zod [VIDEO]
Jesse Eisenberg has a very... interesting story about General Zod's (Michael Shannon) appearance in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
Eisenberg, who plays the villainous Lex Luthor, Jr. in the blockbuster, appeared on Conan this week and spoke about General Zod. The character died at the end of Man of Steel, so a dummy was made up to look like Shannon's character in Batman v Superman.
Speaking about the precision of the dummy, Eisenberg revealed some fascinating information about just how detailed it was.
"I was interacting with this corpse, but it was naked the whole movie," Eisenberg noted. "This movie was crafted by the greatest artisans so every hair on his body was like an accurately placed hair . . . They reproduced this actor in his entirety—in its entirety—and somebody else's genitals because I guess [Shannon] didn't sign off on that final page."
The other major cast members from Batman v Superman, including Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot and Amy Adams were also present and were in fits of laughter throughout the whole exchange—with Conan O'Brien squirming at each passing detail Eisenberg gave.
Shannon himself has been making headlines for his hilariously blunt answer to a recent Vulture question asking who would win in a fight between Batman and Superman.
"I'm so utterly unconcerned with the outcome of that fight. So profoundly, utterly unconcerned," he admitted. "I can't even come up with a fake answer. I guess I have to root for Superman because he killed me, so I would hope that he would continue his killing spree and become like a serial killer Superman. That's a new take on Superman. We'd all be in a heap of trouble if Superman was a serial killer. He could just wipe us all out. But then he'd be lonely."
Asked if Superman isn't already lonely, Shannon quipped, "Well, we're all lonely."
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is currently out in theaters.
