'Legends Of Tomorrow' Spoilers: A 'Supergirl' Crossover In The Cards? EP Teases The Waverider's Capabilities [VIDEO]
Supergirl's iteration of Earth has the potential to get very crowded.
The Flash/Supergirl crossover was a ratings boon for the CBS series, and DC's TV universe is not averse to bringing the girl from Krypton into its yearly crossover bonanza. Barry (Grant Gustin) accidently stumbled upon Kara's (Melissa Benoist) parallel universe while using his brand new tachyon device, but there is at least one person who might have the ability to get there on purpose.
"The Waverider can do [anything] and go anywhere," executive producer Andrew Kreisberg told Entertainment Weekly.
Is it just me, or is Rip Hunter's (Arthur Darvill) time machine starting to sound more and more like a TARDIS? Let's just pop on over to an alternated dimension and see if we can't find a world where Vandal Savage isn't a villain, shall we?
Considering Vibe's (Carlos Valdes) powers will allow him to open the E-2 breaches in The Flash's "Versus Zoom," it'll be interesting to see if Cisco can figure out a way to tap into a larger cross section of the multiverse as the season progresses.
"Nothing is impossible until it's possible," Legends executive producer Marc Guggenheim told us at WonderCon 2016. "We don't have any plans at the moment, but we live in exciting times."
As for the captain of the Waverider, he will have his hands full convincing his team to kill a child in "Progeny" (see video below).
"Rip tells the team they are headed to the future to take out a powerful ally that Savage (guest star Casper Crump) needs in order to conquer the world. However, when Rip reveals the ally is a 14 year-old boy (guest star Cory Gruter-Andrew) who will one day grow into an evil dictator, the team is split about the morality of killing a child, even if it does save the world," The CW teased. "Meanwhile, Sara (Caity Lotz) talks Snart (Wentworth Miller) through a rough patch and Ray (Brandon Routh) learns something that could impact his future with Kendra (Ciara Renée)."
