World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) is partnering with New York mayor Michael Bloomberg and New Jersey governor Chris Christie, as well as with various Hollywood celebrities to launch Superstars for Sandy Relief, according to reports.

Superstars for Sandy Relief will be an online auction on Charitybuzz.com that opens Monday and will be live until April 9. People will be able to bid on a wide range of items, from attending a NASCAR race with former WWE-champion John Cena, to meeting Tyra Banks on the set of America's Next Top Model.

Paul Levesque, executive vice president of talent and live events but better known as the legendary Triple H, said the partnership makes perfect sense with WrestleMania 29 at MetLife Stadium coming up on April 7.

"It's like a homecoming for us, and since there's still a lot of devastation, we felt the best thing we could do is reach out to not only our own superstars to our celebrity contacts and our sports contacts. There's a lot of people that are fans of the WWE in those worlds."

Levesque said he asked the superstars what kinds of events they'd like to participate in. "Who would have thought Ryback would say, 'I'll go bowling with someone.' Cena loves NASCAR, so that was more expected."

Superstars for Sandy Relief items involving WWE wrestlers include sharing a limousine with The Miz, watching the Yankees take live batting practice with The Big Show and Kofi Kingston, and various love messages on TOUT from the superstars. There are 170 items in total that can be bid on, and not all of them are wrestling-oriented.

Other items include spending an inning in the booth with Fox commentators Joe Buck and Tim McCarver, lunch with Charlie Sheen on the set of Anger Management, and an opportunity to attend the New York Giants golf outing at the Westchester Country Club in Rye, New York.

There will also be a Superstars for Sandy relief reception at Cipriani Wall Street on April 4th, hosted by Sean "Diddy" Combs.
