Jeremy Calvert News: 'Teen Mom 2' Girlfriend Brooke Wehr In New Episodes [VIDEO]
Jeremy Calvert is focused on his family after reportedly leaving Teen Mom 2, but on the show, his drama is likely only beginning.
After confirming girlfriend Brooke Wehr had filmed for the series months ago on Instagram, a report has claimed she and Leah Messer, Calvert's ex-wife, recently met for the first time -- and they did so with camera crews present.
"The meeting was on-camera and Leah did not handle it well," The Ashley's Reality Roundup reported last month.
Calvert and Wehr began dating a short time after he split from Messer, but during Teen Mom 2 season six, Wehr was not seen at all, and according to a report at the time, Calvert didn't want their relationship to be featured on the show.
“Brooke won’t be appearing on the show, not even a quick cameo,” a source close to Calvert told Radar Online last June. “He learned his lesson from his crazy marriage to Leah, and doesn’t want all the attention to ruin the relationship.”
Although the couple has since changed their minds, the source went on to reveal that Wehr also didn't want their relationship on camera when they first began dating.
“Brooke wants nothing to do with Jeremy’s fame,” the insider explained. “She’s happy with her own life.”
As for how the couple's relationship has been since the start, the source said Calvert's family was a fan of Wehr, and added that Calvert was glad to be done with his short-lived marriage to Messer, the mother of his three-year-old daughter, Adalynn Faith.
“Jeremy’s mom really likes her,” the source continued. “She agrees that they should keep their relationship quiet... They are very happy together, and the relationship is progressing. “Jeremy is so thrilled to be done with Leah.”
