Lil' Wayne has announced 40 dates for his upcoming 2013 America's Most Wanted Music Festival on Monday.
The New Orleans rapper - who was released from the hospital two weeks ago after suffering back-to-back bouts of seizures - will travel across country the with Atlanta rapper T.I. and singer Future. Additional acts will be announced later, according to MTV News. The performers will begin touring on July 9 in Alabama and wrap up in California on September 1.
Wayne's previous America's Most Wanted Music Festival tour was held in 2009.
Lil Wayne will release one of this year's most highly anticipated rap albums, I Am Not A Human Being 2 on Tuesday. Ahead of the release, the New Orleans rapper dropped the album's cover art and track list for his tenth album, I Am Not A Human Being 2. Fans of Lil Wayne's I Am Not A Human Being 2 can download it on iTunes on March 26.
Lil Wayne first announced plans for the tour in the video he sent to TMZ to assure fans that he was "more than good" after his hospital scare sparled rumors that he was in a coma, in ICU and may have been poisoned.
"I just want to say thank you to all ya'll for ya'll prayers and your concerns and all that," said Wayne, "I swear to God I felt that love when I was laid up in that mother----in' hospital bed. I want all ya'll to know that I'm good ... more than good."
"I'm still going on tour, America's Most Wanted ... Some of my closest friends in the game [will be joining me]" he said, before he introduced T.I. in the video clip.
T.I said, "I'm good, we good. It's all good." T.I. then said the tour would begin around July 5 and suggested that fans of the rappers should get ready to get "some barbecue on the 4th and holla at us on the 5th."
