'Love And Hip Hop Atlanta' Season 5: Mimi Faust Moves On With A Woman [VIDEO]
It's been reported that Mimi Faust of VH1’s Love & Hip Hop Atlanta had finally found a new love after her drama with Nikko Smith. But after she introduced them on the show’s fifth season premiere Monday, it’s safe to say this was unexpected.
Faust takes drastic measures and throws a lavish all-white party to introduce her new love to her friends. Jessica Dime, Tommie, Karlie Redd, Rasheeda and Tammy Rivera all gathered to “meet Mimi’s new man.”
Faust makes an appearance with a crew of people, and it’s a little difficult to tell who she’s dating.
Faust told cameras, “I’m sure people are gonna be shocked that I’m in a relationship with a woman. Hopefully my true friends will just want me to be happy.”
Rivera actually thought Faust’s new boo was an “Idris Elba looking dude” before Faust’s friends chanted for Chris to step forward. But when Faust introduced Chris and a woman stepped up, it’s safe to say Faust was right about the “shock” factor.
Rasheeda’s reaction was, “Really [girl?] It’s a female. You’re always pulling something out of the bag. I never had a clue.”
She also couldn’t help but laugh.
Faust went on to say that she has gone through a lot in her past, but she’s happy.
“That’s why I got a girlfriend!” she said. It seems her good friend Ariane is all for it too.
