Jenelle Evans and David Eason were involved in an awkward moment with Barbara Evans on Monday night's Teen Mom 2, but now, it seems as though Evans and Eason are getting along great with her mother.

Although the Teen Mom 2 couple engaged in a number of shouting matches with Barbara during filming on season seven, Evans took to Twitter on Tuesday night, where she revealed she and Eason were meeting her mom for dinner.

Weeks ago, Evans gushed over Eason, whom she's been dating for about seven months.

"He's a very hard worker, and I love that about him," Evans told PEOPLE Magazine last month. "He doesn't care about me making money, or how much I get, he still pays his own bills, and he still gives me money for rent and everything, which I've never had any boyfriend do!"

Eason is also said to be great with Evan's two children, Jace, 6, and Kaiser, 1.

"Jace absolutely loves him, [he] always wants to be around him," Evans said. "And he has an 8-year-old daughter that comes and spends the weekends along with Jace, so they get along very well and everyone is just really happy."

Just days ago, Evans shared a photo of her boyfriend with her two boys and his daughter, Maryssa, at the zoo, and judging by the photo, they looked to be one big happy family. However, when it comes to having kids of their own, Evans said she and Eason are "taking things slow" for now.

That said, Evans "can definitely see him as a great person [to have kids with]."

"We're not looking into marriage or kids or [anything] like that," she said. "I even said on camera, I said: 'I'll be miserable for the rest of my life as long as I have my family together,' but honestly, it's really about being happy, and if you're not happy, your kids aren't going to happy, and that's the most important thing."
