Yolanda Foster, David: 'RHOBH' Ignores Divorce, Focuses On Lyme Disease [VIDEO]
Yolanda Foster's divorce from husband David is about to play out on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' season six finale episode, but on social media, she's staying mum in regard to the split.
On Instagram, after returning home from her recent trip to Tahiti, Yolanda spoke out about Ally Hilfiger's new book, "Bite Me," which speaks of her struggles with Lyme disease.
"Congratulations to my fellow Lyme Warrior and friend @allyhilfiger for sharing her journey in order to educate....... #BiteMe #LymeDiseaseAwareness #WeMustFindACure," Yolanda wrote on Tuesday.
Meanwhile on the show, fans are finally starting to see the beginning of the end for Yolanda and David Foster, who announced they were parting ways on Dec. 1, 2015 after four years of marriage.
“Yolanda and David are getting a divorce,” Eileen Davidson tells Lisa Rinna in a sneak peek at the upcoming episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
During another scene, Lisa Vanderpump was seen sitting with Kyle Richards and Kathryn Edwards, suggesting Yolanda may have been caught off-guard by the breakup.
“I’m assuming [Yolanda Foster] was blindsided,” Lisa Vanderpump guesses.
“Maybe she’s like, the one who fell out of love with him,” Edwards adds.
Later, Yolanda is seen telling a friend, “If you stop making each other happy, then you shouldn’t be together," and adds, “Divorce is almost like a death.”
Following a recent episode of the show, in which David expressed doubts in their marriage, Yolanda took to her blog, where she addressed her impending divorce.
"There were mixed emotions while watching tonight's episode," Yolanda wrote. "A divorce, regardless of how it happens, is still the closing of the chapter, a separation from your life partner. We can't help but feel the loss and wonder when and how things went wrong. Long-term illness brings challenging hurdles to a home, a family and a marriage. It affects many lives, but I have to believe we've all done the best we can. Rather then getting stuck on what went wrong, I choose to focus on what was right and cherish the many great memories we shared."
