'Fifty Shades of Grey' Movie Casting: Is Ian Somerhalder & Nina Dobrev Casting a Possibility? VIDEO
Vampire Diaries' on-screen and real-life couple Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev have been quite effective at keeping their romance under wraps.
Due to their natural chemistry, it wouldn't be too farfetched to say that the two could pull off a believable romance as Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele in Fifty Shades of Grey.
In a recent interview conducted with Bravo TV host Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live, Somerhalder, 34, dished on the seemingly never-ending Fifty Shades of Grey rumors.
In the process, Cohen also queried Somerhalder on if he was dating anybody. Although it's pretty much been known around the entertainment industry that both he and the easy on the eyes Dobrev are indeed a couple, they duo has managed to keep it on the down low. When asked if he was single, the actor gave the following response:
Nonetheless, some of the couple's loyalists have given the TV costars a collective name, Nian. To top it off, they've even taken to social networking to express their admiration for the pair.
"I am absolutely obsessed with Nian, every day I have panic attacks just thinking about them breaking up," BubbleMarshmellow said.
"I'm actually a little obsessed with ian and nina together, honestly . ahaha," Leighana Parmenter said.
On the contrary, many Fifty Shades fans have also expressed worry over whether Somerhalder's real-life romance would impact his decision to sign on to the role assuming Dobrev doesn't land the part, which seems highly likely given that former Gilmore Girls' Alexis Bledel is the current fan favorite.
