Brandi Glanville wore an "It's Not Fun To Be Sober" t-shirt during Tuesday night's episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but according to the mother of two, she did so in an effort to poke fun at herself.

Although many felt the item was extremely insensitive to her friend Kim Richards' new sobriety, including Richards' younger sister, Kyle, Glanville took to Twitter, where she explained the meaning behind the t-shirt.

According to Glanville, it was her own drinking habits that have taken center stage on the show, so she felt it would be funny to joke about her frequently buzzed behavior on a shirt.

Following Tuesday night's episode, in which Glanville was also seen gifting Richards with a shirt that said "Medicated," Kyle appeared on Watch What Happens Live, where she was asked about her thoughts on Glanville's shirt.

"I thought it was very insensitive," Kyle told host Andy Cohen, via SheKnows. "Nothing Brandi does shocks me anymore, but I thought it was very insensitive."

After heraing what Kyle had to say, Glanville re-tweeted a message from a fan, which suggested Kyle bringing Kim to a party with alcohol around was worse than Glanville wearing a t-shirt that poked fun at sobriety.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season six concludes next week and will be followed by the three-part reunion special on April 19.
