Ciara, Future 2016: Singer Throws Shade At Ex & It's Caught On Camera [VIDEO]
While Ciara is gearing up to marry Seattle Seahawks star Russell Wilson, she seemed to throw a little shade at her ex-fiancee and father of her child, rapper Future.
And it all happened on camera.
Ciara and Ludacris are set to host this year’s Billboard Awards and as they were announcing the nominees Monday, Ciara refused to mention Future’s name in the Top Rap Artist category. She listed Drake, Fetty Wap, Wiz Khalifa and Silento just fine. But when it came to say Future, she took a long pause and Ludacris do the honors.

It didn’t take long for fans to hop on Twitter and share their thoughts on Ciara’s possible shade. One joked, “Future is actually a legend. A man named is son Future so Ciara can never move on. I’m crying.”

Another decided to explain for Ciara why she suddenly couldn’t speak when it came to Future.

One fan called her out for being “petty” as another said fans shouldn’t be worried about what Ciara does when it comes to Future.

Another had a different suggestion on how Ciara could have really gotten under Future’s skin.

Ciara’s moment comes just after her interview with Essence magazine was released in which she dished on her past with Future and her wedding plans with Wilson.
She revealed that while her “pregnancy was planned,” she wasn’t expecting to be a single mother after her and Future’s breakup.
“That wasn’t necessarily part of my vision. But the moment I realized I was going to be a single mother, I had to reflect and reorganize my thoughts. I decided to trust that God had a plan for me, and move forward one day at a time.”
As for Wilson, she said he is the ideal man for her.
“I remember telling my friend the kind of guy I wanted: a God-fearing man with a very fun spirit who loves kids and would really, truly care for me. I was very specific because I do believe you can have it all.”
