Blackberry Z10 Release Date in US for TMobile, AT&T, Sprint & Verizon [PRICES]
The all-new touch screen Blackberry Z10 debuted in late January and the device is now available in the U.S. via AT&T, starting March 22.
BlackBerry debuted its Z10 device and BB10 operating system on Jan. 30. Sprint decided to not sell the Z10 in favor of a new BB10 flagship the Q10, which has a physical keypad and a smaller touch screen.
"We aren't saying there's anything different about our customers," Sprint spokesman Mark Elliott told Bloomberg. "We think our customers will be happy with the QWERTY keyboard and touch screen on the Q10."
Verizon began selling the device on March 28 but pre-orders had been available for several days before its release. In terms of price, both Verizon and AT&T have an official listing of $199.99 with a two-year contract.
T-Mobile put the BlackBerry Z10 up for sale on its website, where it's available for $100 with an additional $18 per month for the duration of a 24- month contract. Available is also the Z10 without any contract for $532.
The Z10 has a 4.2-inch screen with a 1280 x 720 pixel resolution, a dual-core, 1.5GHz Snapdragon processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory. It also runs on the BlackBerry 10 operating system, making it the first smartphone to launch with the new operating system.
The Z10 has a 4.2-inch 1,280-by-768 LCD screen, and at 5.1 by 2.6 by .35 inches (HWD) and 4.8 ounces, it comes out just a bit bigger than the iPhone 5.
The Blackberry Q10 will arrive on April 26, according to Tech Radar, and a SIM-free version of it will be around $800.
