Leah Messer claims to have faced issues of anxiety and depression during Teen Mom 2 season six, and has displayed some odd behavior during season seven, but according to the reality star, she's doing much better now.

Although Messer was seen texting while driving and complaining about her horrible life during a recent episode of Teen Mom 2, she claims she's gotten a hold on her anxiety -- and is now passing her knowledge on to her kids.

During production on Teen Mom 2 season six, Messer was accused of abusing her prescription pain medication, but when it came to her May 2015 trip to treatment, she claimed it was her anxiety and depression that led her to seek help -- not drugs. And while in rehab, the reality star learned coping tools, which she is now teaching her children, Ali and Aleeah, 6, and Adalynn, 3.

On the upcoming episode of Teen Mom 2, Messer will be seen sitting down for dinner with her ex-husband, Jeremy Calvert, who divorced her last year amid allegations of her drug use and cheating.

“Do you ever wish you would’ve listened to me one time?” Calvert asks his wife.

“Yeah, like you were the one person, I thought, like, I couldn’t imagine myself being with anyone else," she answers.

“I’m not going to lie to you. There was nights I was scared for the girls,” Calvert says to Messer. “There were nights. You damn right. I was scared.”

“I’m not going to say I wasn’t in a bad place … because I know I was,” Messer admits. “And I was looking for a hand, like some kind of help... So we shouldn’t have just gave up.”
