Debby Ryan has someone defending her following her DUI arrest earlier this month.

The Disney Channel star was reportedly arrested in Los Angeles on April 5 when she was making a left turn and crashed into another car. She was then taken away on felony DUI, which was later reduced to a misdemeanor, according to E! News.

And now, Alyson Stoner, who worked with Ryan in her "We Got the Beat" music video, dished to People on Friday about the incident.

"We all in the industry have a different amount of spotlight on us during different points of our lives," Stoner said. "It could have been anyone."

The actress added how crucial it is for one to focus on his or her own life to see where the future will go from there.

"It's most important...to give a lot of space and a lot of room for your human story to work itself out, for you to learn what you need to learn and how you need to learn it," Ryan said.

Not too long after the incident, Ryan took to Twitter to apologize for her actions, something she deeply regrets.

"Over the last few days I have had the chance to think about my actions, and I wish I had used better judgment," she wrote. "I recognize that I am a role model and have always worked hard to set a good example for my millions of fans. I am so sorry to disappoint everyone."

The actress previously spoke to Clevver News on how women can be overlooked when they work so hard.

"I feel like it's so easy for us as women to be inspired by men and to try and do it like them," she said. "But there are so many female role models that are younger than me, or my age, that I'm around that are so talented and kicking butt."
