'How I Met Your Mother' Season 8 Spoilers: Guest Stars Casted For Finale Alongside Barney & Robin, VIDEO
After a brief hiatus, CBS' How I Met Your Mother will make its season eight return on April 15. Moving further ahead to the finale, two notable actors are reportedly set to guest star on it, which is slated to show in May.
Carter Matt stated that the roles will be primarily used in interactions with Barney (Neil Patrick Harris) and Robin (Colbie Smulders).
Previous chatter by the TV site had said that Barney and Robin were set to get into a couples' contest at a restaurant. However, Vulture has now given the confirmation that the pair that will compete with the couple will be played by Happy Endings' Casey Wilson and Key & Peele's Keegan-Michael Key.
In other HIMYM news, CM speculated that the series' loyalists will have to come to grips with the fact that one of its most adored characters may be breaking away from the others for a significant amount of time.
The CBS network released the following synopsis for its upcoming Romeward Bound episode, and it seems as though Lily will be bidding farewell (at least for now) to New York City in order to pursue her real passion in the art industry.
"When The Captain asks Lily to move to Rome for a year to be his art consultant, she fears that Marshall will resent her. Meanwhile, Ted and Barney become obsessed with a girl who is hiding her amazing body under a puffy coat."
How I Met Your Mother is set to return to CBS on Monday, April 15 at 8 p.m. EDT.
