Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani Update: Couple Splitting Up Already? [VIDEO]
While many gossip blogs and media sites have been calling them the couple of the year, it looks like Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani might have hit a serious rough patch in their relationship.
In fact, there's a new report that suggests Shelton and Stefani's relationship might be in major trouble as sources say they've been doing everything just to avoid each other on the set of The Voice these days.
According to Hollywood Life on Tuesday, Shelton and Stefani might love showing off their relationship (along with plenty of PDA) while the cameras are rolling but backstage, it's a whole different story. In fact, Stefani herself apparently decided that it would be best if the couple spend some time apart - before it's too late.
One source dished to the site, "Gwen will no longer be on or around the set while Blake is working. If she is not featured on the show in some way, as a coach or a mentor, then she will not hang around set just to be close with Blake. They may love each other and enjoy spending time together, but she respects his work space and will keep her time around the studios to a minimum."
The insider added, "She is a professional and knows how hard he works on the show. She does not want to get in the way of the job he must do on the NBC hit. Gwen gets that it is a big part of Blake's career and so she will save their quality time together for when neither has obligations."
And while they've been dating for several months now, there's no word on whether Shelton plans on popping the all-important question to his girlfriend anytime soon.
