What's going on with Hailey Baldwin and Justin Bieber?
Earlier this year, the couple appeared to be inseparable during a trip to Anguilla, but in March, Bieber suddenly gave a shoutout to his ex-girlfriend, Selena Gomez, and days later, Gomez was photographed at his L.A. concert. Meanwhile, Baldwin and Bieber haven't been seen together in weeks. So, what's happening?
“Hailey is in such a tough spot, she’s crazy about Justin and she would love to be the only woman in his life but she just can’t force him to commit," a source explained to Hollywood Life at the end of last month. "She’s always played it cool, or at least she tries to, but when he goes hot and cold on her like this it hurts her a lot more than she lets on. This whole thing with Selena is agonizing for her, she really believed that Justin had moved on."
While Baldwin used to refrain from commenting on her romance with Bieber, she spoke of him during an interview with E! News in February, revealing they weren't in an exclusive relationship and hinting it was because he was about to go on tour.
Then, months later, Baldwin spoke of dating in the public eye yet again, revealing her relationship with Bieber was "hard."
“I don’t want attention out of dating somebody. Texts started coming through, crazy phone calls…it’s hard to date somebody in this industry,” Baldwin explained to Marie Claire earlier this month, via Hollywood Life. “You have to have really thick skin and be very strong. You have to focus on the person and nothing else.”
Baldwin also suggested she had been a push-over in the past, but didn't say whether the comment was aimed at the ongoing love triangle involving Bieber and Gomez.
“I’m the type of person where I let things slide. I push it to the side. And then finally explode every so often, but by myself,” she added.
