'Young and the Restless' (Y&R) Spoilers: Abby's Accident Forces Jack & Billy To Call A Truce [VIDEO]
They've been at war with one another ever since Jack (Peter Bergmann) ousted him from the company at Victoria's (Amelia Heinle) request, but now, he and Billy (Jason Thompson) will put their differences aside after they learn about Abby's (Melissa Ordway) tragic accident on The Young and the Restless.
Abby's baby shower ended in horror as she walked down the stairs at the club and tripped, tumbling down the steps and losing the baby she and Stitch (Sean Carrigan) were so happy and excited about welcoming into the world. Now, as she mourns, her two uncles will decide to call a truce about their fight, which came from Jack agreeing to Victoria's demands so Jabot and Newman could share Passkey.
"I'm here because our family needs us. Now more than ever," Jack says to Billy in a preview clip for the Friday, April 22 episode.
The two will then race to the hospital to be there for Abby, and Ashley (Eileen Davidson), since the loss will be traumatic for them all. Billy will also feel particularly upset that this happened since he too knows what it feels like to lose a child, after he and Victoria lost Delia.
Meanwhile, what no one has actually learned or realized yet is that Abby's fall was actually no accident. Max (Jared Breeze) actually faked his being happy for the baby and being okay with Abby, and after saying he wanted to throw her a surprise baby shower, plotted to make her fall down the stairs. He succeeded by putting fishing wire across one of the steps, which Abby tripped over on her way, down leading to her fall. He managed to also successfully remove the wire before anyone saw it, and is now holding on to it.
At the hospital however, when he learns from Stitch that the baby was gone, he will be shocked when his father seems to be aware that he has guilty feelings about what happened.
"You're feeling guilty, aren't you?" Stitch asks in the clip.
The Young and the Restless airs Monday-Friday at 12:30 p.m. on CBS.
