Chris Brown has made it clear that he's been working hard on his sixth studio album X, and on Monday he released his first single, Fine China.

The first single, runs over 6 minutes long and Brown collaborated with Philly-based producer Diplo, who also helped with Brown's 2011 smash-hit Look at Me Now. Brown is seen looking sharp in a metallic gold bow-tie and a driving cap in his red Lamborghini car. He spends the video with the sexy girl, and shows off his dancing skills.

"For the first single, I wanted to go more nostalgic, bring Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Sam Cooke to it, but also bring a new sound to what my audience and fans are listening to," Brown said.

The video begins with a Chinese family, appearing to have dinner at the table and the father telling the daughter that she does not have permission to date her boyfriend [Brown.]

Brown appears to be very energetic in the dance video and incorporated a Michael Jackson theme with a modern sound. He is also seen rocking gloves. Many reports have compared Fine China to Jackson's Rock My World.

"For this album, I wanted to have the same mentality as I did with the first album - me being green, me not thinking I know what's hot and what's next, me just being Chris Brown. I think this will show my vocal ability a lot more. I've developed a falsetto, I can sing at a higher register, and I can elaborate more on my skill," Brown said.

According to Billboard, Brown set high goals for himself when creating the track. He explained the album as the Roman numeral symbolizing his birthday on May 5, 1989.

"This is my tenth year since I got into music. X is the 24th letter in the alphabet, and I'll have turned 24 when this album comes out," he said.

Brown said that X stands as a metaphor for an ex-girlfriend, in which it means that you're moving on with your life.

"Not holding on to the past and your old ways," Brown added.

Brown also tapped rapper Kendrick Lamar for a verse to Autumn Leaves, one of the slowed-down songs on the album. "If you're in your car just riding, it's perfect. It just feels like a weather record - an emotional record," Brown said.
