Prince Death News: Gay Men's Chorus Of Los Angeles Gives Touching Performance To Late Artist [VIDEO]
The community is continuing to honor Prince for his music.
Last weekend, the 5th Annual Voice Awards took place in Hollywood, California where special awards were given out to members of the LGBT community for their generous contributions. The Gay Men's Chorus of Los Angeles performed at the event where they took a moment to sing for Prince, the artist who died last Thursday.
The chorus sang a special tribute of one of Prince's most popular hits "When Doves Cry," using their own unique voices to ring out through the auditorium. With their acapella voices, the men started off with a sweet vibe then moved into something a little more intriguing.
The beat rises up while keeping the steady pace the song will forever be remembered by.

The Voice Awards was hosted by TV personality Ross Mathews and NCIS star Pauley Perrette. One particular award that was handed out was for Peter Kujawski, Chairman of Focus Features, who accepted the Visionary Voice Award. Kujawski has told a number of intimate and diverse stories in films such as The Danish Girl and Milk.
As for the death of Prince, it was reported by Daily Mail that he apparently had a drug dealer who claims the singer was addicted to opiates for years.
"I first met Prince in 1984 when he was filming the movie Purple Rain and he was already majorly addicted to opiates," the dealer, who went by the name Doctor D, said. "I didn't hook him on drugs and he was already a really heavy user. In the beginning he would by speed as well as Dilaudid. I would sell him Black Beauties which were a black pill and Cross Tops which were also speed pills."
