Sofia Vergara News: ‘Modern Family’ Actress Opens Up About Single Motherhood [VIDEO]
Sofia Vergara doesn't talk very often about her personal life, but recently she did open up about being a single mother. The Modern Family actress says that one of the best things in life is hearing other people talk positively about her 23-year-old son, Manolo.
"Every time people compliment me about my son, Manolo, it is very rewarding," Vergara told People. "I was really young when I divorced his father, so I raised him trying to set the best example and give him the best that I could. When people compliment me on him, on how well mannered, how charming, funny and well-behaved he is, it makes all the sacrifices worthwhile."
Meanwhile, there are rumors swirling that Vergara might be pregnant with her second child with her husband, Joe Maganiello.
According to Naughty Gossip last week, sources close to the pair say they already have a bun in the oven. There were previous rumors earlier this month that said Manganiello was suffering from a mysterious illness that also landed him in the hospital.
One tipster close to Vergara said, "She is over the moon! This is a dream come true. The couple have been trying to have a family for some time and this is the best news ever. They are so excited and happy. They are trying to keep it a secret but Sofia is telling everyone. She can't help herself. She is going to be a mommy."
So far Vergara herself has not made any comments about the pregnancy rumors.
