Brandon Jacobs to Gisele: 'Be cute and shut up'
The backlash against Gisele Bundchen is in full throttle.
Super Bowl champ and New York Giants running back Brandon Jacobs advised the Brazilian supermodel to "continue to be cute and shut up."
Jacobs made the comment yesterday during a Giants rally at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. The criticism came two days after the model was caught on camera trashing hubby Tom Brady's teammates.
"My husband cannot (expletive) throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time," Gisele ranted after she was heckled about the Patriots' loss. "I can't believe they dropped the ball so many times."
But Giants' defensive linesman Osi Umenyiora apparently has no problem with Bundchen standing by her man.
"I mean, that is her husband," Umenyiora said. "She is supposed to stay out of things like that, but at the end of the day that is their relationship and she has the right to say whatever she wants to."
Jacobs wasn't the only person to scold the former Victoria's Secret Angel. Boston DJ Matt Siegel compared Bundchen to Yoko Ono, who was blamed for breaking up The Beatles. Meanwhile, Boston Herald columnist Raakhee Mirchandani lambasted the model for the controversial comment, callng her a "petulant panty model" who is "all beauty, little brains."
