Happy Endings' Casey Wilson is set to appear on the finale of the CBS hit show, How I Met Your Mother, which will hit the air on May 13.
Vulture had reported that Wilson will be appearing alongside Key and Peele standout Keegan-Michael Key. Sources say that the two will be featured as a couple having dinner at the same restaurant as Barney (Neil Patrick Harris) and Robin (Colbie Smulders).
The site also reported that Wilson's presence on the show could very well impact Barney and Robin's wedding.
Wilson recently sat down with ET Online. Although she did manage to keep the character chatter relatively discreet, she did talk minimally about her upcoming role.
"She's a real b***h. I'll leave it there. She's not someone anyone would want to hang out with," Wilson said.
Although she'll be playing an unwelcoming character, she did dish on her real-life friendship with Abby Elliott (Jeanette), who had also been on the show to play the crazy girlfriend of Ted (Josh Radnor) earlier in the season.
"She texted me, 'You're going to love How I Met Your Mommy,' and I was dying that she's been calling it 'How I Met Your Mommy.' I filmed my scenes last week and they're just the nicest group over there."
During the conversation, Wilson also gave kudos to the How I Met Your Mother principle cast.
"They're class acts, and I have a real girl crush on Cobie Smulders. Like, I was getting nervous talking to her because I really look up to her ... and then I realized she's younger than me [laughs]."
How I Met Your Mother is set to launch its next episode on Monday, April 15 at 8 p.m. EDT on the CBS network. Behind-the-scenes footage of season 8 can be viewed below.
