Lil Wayne Visits Nightclub Post-Seizure, Epilepsy; First Public Appearance Since "Last Rites" Hospital Stay [VIDEO]
Rapper Lil Wayne is not letting his epilepsy and seizure health conditions slow him down, as he was recently spotted partying at a nightclub.
The Grammy-Award winner made his first public appearance on Monday at Miami's Mansion nightclub to celebrate rapper Rocko, after suffering a seizure that landed him in a hospital last month.
The Join Me rapper partied with Cash Money Founder, Birdman and a source told People Magazine that Wayne "looked health and fresh-faced," which is a good sign for the artist's condition.
"He sipped on water while holding court at a VIP table on Mansion's stage that overlooked the crowd," the source added.
Enstars reported last month that Wayne was reportedly shocked when he heard reports circulating that he was preparing his last rites during his hospital stay last week.
Wayne wasn't happy about the claim that his camp strongly denied, and his close friend Mack Maine said the rapper's "face dropped" when he heard about the rumors.
Wayne was taken to the hospital for multiple seizures on March 12 and released the day after. Within hours of that release, it was reported that his bodyguards discovered him unconscious in his room. The rapper was rushed to the hospital again, but this time his condition appeared to be much worst. TMZ reported that several people in Wayne's entourage rushed to his bedside and that his mother was making arrangements to fly to Los Angeles.
Weeks later, Wayne is definitely back to business as he was featured in his Young Money artist, Nicki Minaj's High School music video.
"We kept on laughing the whole time," Minaj said. "He was like, 'stop laughing' and I was like, 'Alright.' And I would burst out laughing again."
Minaj said that her relationship with Wayne is more than just a business deal, she claimed that he is a brother to her.
"Wayne said that we had to kiss (in the video)," she explained. "He was like, 'yo, one thing that's gonna sell it is that if we really kiss' and I was like, "ehhhh."
