Super shocking news hit the headlines over the weekend as rumors swirled that Tamar Braxton was axed from the hit daytime talk show, The Real, ahead of its third season. Unfortunately, the reports are true.

Speculation began when news went around that Braxton, who was one of five co-hosts, was let go.

“Tamar Braxton just got fired from ‘The Real,’” one insider told blogger Love B. Scott Saturday. “She wasn’t reading too well with the audience and sales people didn’t find her to be a good fit with advertisers. Also, production found her too difficult to deal with.”

Braxton had posted a very cryptic message via Instagram about being “betrayed” and stabbed in the back just hours before. She made it clear the disloyalty wasn’t from her sisters, who she has had drama with in the past, or her husband Vincent Herbert, who one fan tried to call out for cheating (Braxton quickly shut that down).

Word is she also unfollowed all of her now former co-hosts: Loni Love, Jeannie Mai and Adrienne Bailon. That’s actually pretty shocking because Braxton was really good friends with both Loni and Bailon outside of the show. Bailon even made a few appearances in Braxton and Herbert’s hit WeTV series Tamar & Vince. Braxton is still following Tamera Mowry-Housley. Loni also posted an interesting message on Twitter that reads, “I have no idea what’s going on…”

The Real has released an official statement that confirmed Braxton’s status on the show as well.

The Real and Tamar Braxton have mutually decided that Tamar will not be continuing with the show for its upcoming third season. She will be leaving in order to concentrate on her solo career. Everyone associated with ‘The Real’ appreciates Tamar’s efforts and the contributions she has made to the show’s success, and we wish her all the best for the future.”
