‘Frozen’ Lesbian Girlfriend Update: Idina Menzel Comes Out In Support Of #GiveElsaAGirlfriend [VIDEO]
Disney might have a hard time letting go of this idea, whether they like it or not. It looks like Frozen star Idina Menzel, who voices Queen Elsa in the hit animation, has hopped on the #GiveElsaAGirlfriend bandwagon too, as she thinks it's a great idea.
During an interview with Entertainment Tonight on Sunday, Menzel said that that she would definitely support the idea as Disney is currently prepping for a big Frozen sequel in the works.
She said, "I think it's a great idea. Disney's just gotta contend with that. I'll let them figure that out. No matter what, Elsa changed my life."
And it seems like many fans agree as they have taken to their Twitter accounts to make the #GiveElsaAGirlfriend hashtag the boost it needs. Some comments include:
#GiveElsaAGirlfriend so little kids will know that girls loving girls is normal even when their parents teach them otherwise.
