She might be one of the most recognizable names in the world, but is Mariah Carey making some questionable career moves here? That's what her fans can't help but wonder as she's not only doing a reality television show, but she's also returning to the Hallmark Channel with a few new projects in the pipeline.

According to Deadline on Monday, Carey--who just finished a European tour across the pond--will be reuniting with Hallmark once again to work on several new songs for three of their new movies. She is also set to executive produce the yet to be titled films, which will also be a part of the network's Countdown to Valentine's Day event. In December, Carey had directed and starred with Lacey Chabert in the Hallmark holiday movie A Christmas Melody.

"We are honored to continue our collaboration with the multi-talented Mariah Carey," Michelle Vicary, programming boss for parent company Crown Media Family Networks, told the entertainment trade site. "It's rare to work with a talent who can produce, direct, star and also compose original music for a project, and we know she will deliver for our viewers once again."

Meanwhile, Carey--who was previously married to television host Nick Cannon--is set to marry her billionaire fiancé, Australian businessman James Packer. But unlike many things she does, it won't be the big star-studded Hollywood event you'd expect it to be.

"(It's going to be) very private (and there won't be) tons of people," the chart topper recently dished. "I'm most excited about the grandeur, darling. It's not gonna be a big wedding. But it's going to be grand."
