'The Real' Cast Members: Did Loni Love Know About Tamar Braxton Firing? She Says... [VIDEO]
The whirlwind surrounding Tamar Braxton’s firing from The Real continues as all fingers seem to point to her now former co-star Loni Love, who many are convinced knew that Braxton was about to get the boot.
It all started when Wendy Williams took to her Hot Topics segment on her own daytime talk show and said that Loni, who stopped by the show just days before the announcement of Braxton’s firing became public, was fully aware of what was going on.
Check it out at the 6:40 mark below.
As for Loni, she uploaded a video speaking on the matter just moments ago and called out Williams for her comments.
“I just wanna clear up some things. All of this is getting out of control. It’s getting out of hand. And it’s hurting my friend Tamar,” she said before speaking on her recent appearance on Williams. “I love you Wendy, but I have to say I didn’t know. We taped your show on Thursday. None of us found out about Tamar until Tamar text us on Saturday… It was Saturday afternoon…”
She said Braxton sent all of the ladies a text that read, “I heard I’m being fired.”
She revealed that Tamera Mowry-Housley was the first to respond. By the time Loni saw the text an hour later she called but Braxton didn’t respond. As for Adrienne Bailon, she was traveling in Puerto Rico and Jeannie Mai is in Singapore. This made it difficult for the ladies to respond right away.
“Everybody in some way.. All the hosts tried to contact her. Saturday is the first time I heard about it… That’s when we got a phone call from Telepictures and they confirmed that she was let go.”
Loni said she did ask why.
“They told me basically none of my business… I would not have done Wendy’s show… If I would have known that [Tamar] was not gonna be on season three.”
She said the ladies had already had a photo shoot for the upcoming season and planned to go to The Essence Music Festival and had no clue Braxton would be getting the axe.
“I’m very devastated just as Tamar is,” she said.
She also shut down speculation that she is friends with B. Scott, the blogger who first broke the news about Braxton Saturday night.
“When I put on my Instagram that I had no idea what was going on… It’s the truth.”
She also hinted that she hasn’t spoken to Braxton but said she’ll continue to try to get in touch with her.

The other hosts also sent a special message for Braxton today. See what they had to say.
Braxton’s former assistant, who goes by the Twitter handle @MrLDavis, also hinted that Loni is the only one who didn’t reach out to Tamar after the news hit.
