Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin were facing divorce long before Lowry's confirmation of a split earlier this week.

According to a new report, Lowry opened up to her ex-boyfriend, Jo Rivera, during filming on Teen Mom 2 season seven, and in a sneak peek, the former couple makes plans to keep their own relationship stress-free/

After talking about how they can avoid “regressing back to fighting,” Lowry and Rivera begin to talk about Marroquin.

“I don’t want to say he’s the problem, but for a long time I wanted to bring him in on this so we’re all good as a group,” Rivera explains to Lowry, according to a Radar Online report on Wednesday.

At that point, Lowry brings up the marital issues she's been having with her husband of nearly four years.

“Javi and I have been dealing with some stuff while he’s been deployed and it’s been way harder than I ever anticipated,” Lowry tells Rivera. “It makes me nervous for a lot of things, not just our situation, Javi is going to have to deal with us all being on good terms, but just everything in general.”

While Lowry has confirmed the split, she hasn't said much about her decision to end her marriage -- or if was her decision at all. She has, however, posted a sly remark to Us Weekly's Twitter announcement above.

As for Rivera, he appears to be completely happy with fiance Vee Torres, who gave birth to his second child, a baby girl, months ago.
