On last week's episode of Teen Mom 2, Miranda Simms was accused of being cruel to her step-daughter, Ali, and ignoring her while paying attention to her biological daughter, Remington, and a short while later, she faced backlash online.

In response, Miranda, the wife of Corey Simms, shared the following re-tweet with her fans and followers on Twitter.

During last Monday's show, a video surfaced which featured Ali complaining about her step-mother's behavior.

In the clip, Ali was heard saying, "Miranda always gets mad at me cause my backpack is too heavy... I give her my backpack when it’s too heavy… she says, ‘Ali, I have to hold the baby.'”

Miranda and Corey welcomed their first child together, daughter Remington Monroe Simms, in November of last year, shortly before the scenes being shown were filmed.

During the next episode of Teen Mom 2, Leah Messer, Ali's mom and Corey's ex-wife, will be seen chatting with a friend when she receives a text message from Miranda in regard to the video shown.

“Hey, Corey was talking to me about you all’s discussion about the girls," Miranda wrote. "I rarely have her carry her own backpack and if I do it is because I have to carry Remi in and other stuff,” Simms explained in her text. “I do care for them and try to give them the best life when they are here but it really bothers be that you are claiming you have some sort of sneaky video of because I have absolutely nothing to hide.”
