Kailyn Lowry Twitter: 'Teen Mom 2' Proclaims Independence After Divorce Announcement [VIDEO]
Kailyn Lowry of Teen Mom 2 announced she and Javi Marroquin were getting divorce earlier this month, and ever since, fans have been waiting for some sort of heartbreaking explanation. However, what they have gotten has been far from it.
Rather than share sad messages and memes on Twitter, the reality star and mother of two has been focusing on the positive, including her friendship with ex-boyfriend Jo Rivera, and her independence.
In addition to sharing the sneak peek clip above, Lowry shared the meme below, which spoke of independence.
Once Lowry posted the meme, she was immediately met with several responses from fans, some of whom agreed with her message and others of whom claimed she wasn't the independent woman she said she was. Below are some of the comments shared.
"I guess ppl forget about all her endorsements, books etc."
"Exactly and she's such a great mom."
"Except the time she married for military benefits."
"Aaaaaand getting knocked up and cashing in on your life story. Lots a hard work right there."
"Work?"
As for Lowry's relationship with Jo Rivera, which will be seen getting mended on the next episode, a source claimed last month that the two may have engaged in inappropriate behavior during their trip to Los Angeles in early April.
“Jo even stayed in her hotel room until 3 a.m., talking. She’s jealous of his fiancée, Vee [Torres], and will always have a special place in her heart for him,” an insider told In Touch Weekly. “Kailyn has been telling friends that she and Jo could still get back together."
Lowry also reportedly felt her husband cheated while overseas.
“They were already having trouble, now Kailyn believes Javi cheated with a woman he’s been hanging out with,” the source explained. “It’s definitely over. It’s sad, but it looks like they could wind up in a nasty custody battle [over son Lincoln, 2].”
