Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani Dating: 'Used To Love You' Singer 'Trying To Get Pregnant' With Country Singer? [VIDEO]
There's rarely been a moment that Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani haven't had to deal with rumors about their personal lives since they went public with their romance last year, but it appears now that anyone claiming the relationship is on the rocks is sorely mistaken.
A new report claims the pair are better than ever, and are even planning quite the future together, with Stefani even trying to get pregnant with her beau's baby.
"[They] talk openly about their future together," a source reportedly close to Stefani's family tells Us Weekly. "They say things like, 'When we get married...' all the time."
"[Gwen] is totally smitten and wants to have a baby with Blake," a friend reportedly adds. "Gwen is trying to get pregnant."
The sources also add that there's a reason why Stefani is so eager to have her beau's child, saying that she wants to give Shelton what he couldn't have with ex-wife Miranda Lambert, and that she also wants to see if she can finally have a daughter, after giving birth to three sons with her ex-husband, Gavin Rossdale.
"Blake was dying to have kids but Miranda kept putting it off," a source said. "Gwen says she wants to give Blake his own kid. She wants a girl!"
This isn't the first time rumors have run rampant about the pair's romance, including ones where they were rumored to either already be expecting a a baby, or making plans to have one, with reports often claiming that a girl was on both of their minds.
While neither one has spoken out about the recent claims, Shelton did open up about his relationship, as well as the tabloid coverage of it, in an interview with Rolling Stone, where he marveled at the constant fascination with what he considers an uninteresting personal life, and revealed why he has sued In Touch Weekly for their story about his allegedly having a drinking problem and needing to enter rehab last year after his divorce.
"It used to upset me, but it turns out it just pays really well. They can't let go of anything I do," he said. "I literally was followed to work today. It must mean my career is doing pretty well, because my personal life's not that exciting. I'm almost 40 years old. I don't do that much. I'm kind of a slug. But they damn sure want pictures of it."
"...At some point you gotta draw the line," he later added, referring to the current lawsuit. "I would say that 98 percent of this stuff you see in tabloids I a complete fabrication. Sometimes they get my name right, but that's about it. But when they print something that I feel like could be damaging either on a professional or personal level, then enough is enough...I can't allow somebody to print something like that about me. That could affect my job, I felt like they crossed a line, and now they know they did."
