'Game of Thrones' Season 6 Spoilers: Sansa, Jon & Davos Recruit An Army, Preparing To Fight Ramsay? [VIDEO]
He's threatened to kill the brother he has in captivity and to rape Sansa (Sophie Turner) over and over again if he ever finds her again, and now, Sansa, Jon (Kit Harington), and their few allies, will work to build an army to finally take down Ramsay Bolton (Iwan Rheon) on Game of Thrones.
They left Castle Black on a mission to recruit some of their family's old allies to their side, and will start their battle to gain support by going to the Wildlings that Jon brought from beyond the Wall into Westeros to save them from The Night's King. And when the talks don't go over well initially, Tormund (Kristofer Hivju) will stand up to let the Wildlings know what happened at Castle Black since they were brought over, getting them onto the Stark side as quickly as possible.
"He died for us," he says in a preview clip for the Sunday, June 5 episode, referencing Jon's death and resurrection. "If we're not willing to do the same for him, we're cowards."
As some potentially still feel like joining the fight would be a mistake, Davos (Liam Cunningham) will step forward to remind them of why they are on this side of the Wall now, and that in order to continue to ensure they are protected from the dead when they arrive, they need to make sure that the ones controlling the North won't try to sacrifice them.
"The real war is between the living and the dead, and make no mistake, the dead are coming," Davos says.
Meanwhile, Sansa will have to defend herself to some of the Lords they are trying to win over when they blast her for being married to Ramsay, since his family was partially responsible for the massacre of her own family at the Red Wedding. However, she won't let descent deter her from her mission, as she continues to grow and remind everyone that she is first and foremost, one of the few remaining members of the Stark family.
"I did what I had to do to survive. I will always be a Stark," she says in the clip.
Game of Thrones airs Sundays at 9 p.m. on HBO.
