'Bold and the Beautiful' (B&B) Spoilers: Reverend Rydale Returning, Wyatt & Steffy Marriage Invalid? [VIDEO]
There didn't seem to be any hope for Liam (Scott Clifton) when it came to his desire to be reunited with Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) again, but the return of another character on The Bold and the Beautiful could be the key for him to get what he wants more than anything else in this world.
While Liam was suffering from amnesia and cooped up in Quinn's (Rena Sofer) cabin, Steffy began to believe their relationship was truly over, and moved on with his brother, Wyatt (Darin Brooks), and just one day before he was rescued and came back to L.A., she and Wyatt married in a beach ceremony. Since Liam's return he has made it clear he wants to resume the pieces of a life with Steffy that he can remember, but she has stuck with her marriage. However, the return of Reverend Rydale (Chaz Bono) could provide some shocking news that will change everything for the trio.
Bono started speculation his character was returning after posting a photo on Instagram of himself with Clifton, Brooks, Don Diamont (who portrays Bill), and Dan Martin (who portrays Lieutenant Baker), and captioned it with a description of a long day of shooting with the other four.
"After a long day of shooting with guys. #theboldandthebeautiful," he wrote.
Now, it has been confirmed that his character will pop up on the June 9 and June 10 episodes, and that his return will include his keeping a big secret.
Based on the photo, it can be potentially assumed that for some reason, the secret could pertain to something illegal, since Lieutenant Baker appears to be involved, and he only appears on the canvas when the Spencers, Logans and Forresters are somehow involved in legal trouble. If something is revealed concerning the Reverend which shows him as a fraud, it would mean that his officiating Wyatt and Steffy's wedding was illegal, and renders their marriage invalid. If that is the case, then Steffy could be free to leave Wyatt and reunite with Liam, or she could choose to honor the commitment she tried to make to his brother.
The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
