Canadian rapper Drake made an admittance while slaming singer Chris Brown in an interview on April 12, saying the Don't Wake Me Up singer's insecurities are the reason why he had a chance to date Brown's current lover, Rihanna.

Drake, 26, was hesitant to address his on-going feud with Brown but in the end admitted to Keep It Thoro Internet radio show host Elliot Wilson that he did in fact date Rihanna:

"Don't ask me sh*t about that man when I come up there and leave that man alone. Stop preying on his insecurities," Drake said about Brown. "His insecurities are the fact that I make better music than him, that I'm more popping than him and that at one point in life the woman that he loves fell into my lap."

He added, "I did what a real n***a would do and treated her with respect."

Drake is rumored to have referenced the love triangle in his recent single 5AM in Toronto, in which he raps, "where you think she at when she ain't with ya."

In a different radio interview recently, Brown said he and Drake will always have opposing views.

"We don't see eye-to-eye. Me and Drake. I can say his name. I don't care...We're never gonna see eye-to-eye," he said, adding that their feud is not only about Rihanna but "it's about everything."

Brown and Drake got into a physical assault in June 2012. When both rappers were in the same New York nightclub, Brown reportedly sent a bottle over to Drake's table and Drake confronted Brown and argued with him about Rihanna, whom has been linked to both artists. Drake first punched Brown in the face and threw a bottle at him, and Brown hit back. Legal reports from Brown's bodyguard stated that Drake started the fight by sending an explicit note to Brown's table that read "I'm f**king the love of your life, deal with it."
