'The Walking Dead' Cast: Norman Reedus Shares Advice On How To Go From 'Male' To 'Manly' [VIDEO]
Both he and his character Daryl Dixon are the kind of men who are often regarded as being somewhat masculine, and now, Norman Reedus is gladly sharing some of his secrets for how to be such a manly man.
The The Walking Dead and Ride With Norman Reedus star stopped by The Late Show With Stephen Colbert Tuesday Night to talk about his shows, and was quickly greeted by the host with a comment about how he was definitely considered a badass, which led to Reedus trying to prove that outside of the sets of his shows, he's actually far more reserved.
"You're a professional badass, how does that feel? Does that feel good?" Colbert asked him.
"I'm trying to master the poached egg right now, so I don't know how badass I am," Reedus replied.
Colbert then switched tactics to share how it was also very clear that he and Reedus were very different kinds of men, and decided to use the opportunity to ask for advice on how to be more like his guest.
"Is it accurate to call you a manly man? I'm male," Colbert said. "But I don't think of myself as manly. Do you have any advice for a guy like me on how to go from male to manly?"
"I mean, dude, we're both wearing makeup right now, you know what I mean?" Reedus joked.
"So not makeup, that's the first thing?" Colbert asked. "Or am I wearing the wrong makeup?"
Reedus then decided to take the question a little more seriously, although his advice may not have been quite the kind Colbert was hoping for, since he mainly explained that he just did things in a way that was more suited to himself.
"I kind of just try to be me and do my thing," Reedus said.
