'Real Housewives Of Atlanta' Season 8: Kandi Burruss On Phaedra Parks, Talks Cynthia Bailey Split [VIDEO]
Kandi Burruss has given an update on the once broken friendship with her co-star Phaedra Parks. She has also dished on the split between Cynthia Bailey and her now estranged husband, Peter Thomas.
OK! Magazine caught up with the Burruss at its So Sexy party earlier this week. There, Burruss said of Parks, “We don’t really have a friendship.”
Burruss and Parks were extremely close at one point. Parks even served as a bridesmaid in Burruss’ wedding. And Burruss was present when Parks delivered both of her sons. But things went to the left after Parks’ husband, Apollo Nida, faced lots of legal trouble. He is currently serving an eight year sentence in federal prison. The two also had a blowup after Parks allegedly failed to pay Burruss’ husband, Todd Tucker, for work he had done on Parks’ pregnancy workout DVD.
Burruss also spoke on Bailey and Thomas’s split at the event. And she confessed while she “hates” to see the exes go through it, she was not too shocked.
“Well she talked to me about it a while ago, so I already knew that was ready to do her thing and focus more on herself,” Burruss said. “I hate that it happened because they were one of my favorite couples. But I want her to be happy. And if that means that they need to be separate, then they need to do what’s best for them both.”
