Beyonce And Jay Z 2016: Alleged 'Becky' Rachel Roy Runs Away From CFDA To Avoid Singer? [VIDEO]
It looks like celebrity stylist Rachel Roy was still facing fallout from her alleged feud with Beyonce and Jay Z.
She is said to have skipped out on the rest of the CFDA awards after it came out that Beyonce and her husband would not only be making an appearance, but that Beyonce would be receiving the coveted icons award.
She disappeared with her place card and never came back,” one insider told Page Six Tuesday. “It was weird. I don’t know if it was because she’s ‘Becky’ or what?”
Another insider confirmed that Roy “just came and left.”
Still, someone close to the stylist said that she simply had an early flight to catch the next day and wanted to spend a little extra time with her children.
She has maintained that she is not the woman Beyonce was referring to when she sung in one of her songs, “You better call Becky with the good hair.”
Roy said, “There’s no validity to the idea that the song references me personally. There is no truth to the rumors.”
Still, this isn’t the first time Roy has been accused of being Jay Z’s alleged other woman. Roy was said to be the reason Beyonce’s sister, Solange Knowles, attacked Jay Z on an elevator during the Met Gala events back in May of 2014.
Roy and Jay Z go back as Roy was once married to Jay Z’s former business partner, Damon Dash.
