Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani Split? Country Singer Goes Solo At CMT Awards [VIDEO]
They've been virtually inseparable since announcing their relationship last November, but Blake Shelton was noticeably solo and without girlfriend Gwen Stefani when it came to attending the CMT Awards June 8.
The 'Came Here To Forget singer,' who just released his new album If I'm Honest last month, attended the awards show without Stefani in tow, and also accepted his award for CMT's Social Superstar without mentioning her.
"CMT's Social Superstar-that's not what I was going for, but what the hell!" He said. "I have a few drinks and get on Twitter once in a while. I didn't know you could get paid for that, but damn!"
However, those who take the fact that Stefani wasn't present at the show as a bad sign for the pair's romance, don't need to worry, because it seems Stefani simply had other commitments which kept her from attending and supporting her boyfriend in person on his big night.
Stefani took to her Twitter page Wednesday to share that she had been rehearsing all day for her upcoming This Is What The Truth Feels Like tour, and seemed to just be spending the night afterwards at home with her sons in L.A.
"Hi been rehearsing all day for the tour!! R U coming?" She wrote.
Stefani and Shelton's romancer has been a hot topic since they confirmed it back in November, just a few short months after the Voice co-coaches announced their respective divorces from Miranda Lambert and Gavin Rossdale.
Shelton and Lambert announced their divorce the day it was official last July, after four years of marriage and a relationship which spanned a decade. Stefani and Rossdale announced their own divorce plans a few weeks later, after 13 years of marriage and three kids, sons Kingston, Zuma and Apollo, together. Their romance ended due to Rossdale allegedly cheating for three years with nanny Mindy Mann. The divorce was finalized earlier this year.
