Kevin Hart Arrested, Released From Jail on $5,000 Bond for DUI [VIDEO]: Tweets "Drinking & Driving is Not a Game"
Kevin Hart was released from jail Mon. April 15 after being arrested on suspicion of DUI when he almost slammed into a gas tanker while speeding on the highway.
According to a TMZ report, The California Highway Patrol officers spotted the comedian driving a black Mercedes on the 101 Freeway in Los Angeles at about 4:30am. They said he was “driving erratic,” going 90 MPH,” and “almost collided with a gas tanker truck.”
Hart failed a sobriety test and was booked into a local jail for misdemeanor DUI just before 6:00 AM PT and posted at $5,000 bond.
A female passenger in the actor's car was sent home in a taxi.
On his way out of jail, Hart, 32, admitted to being drunk, and later addressed the incident on Twitter, writing that drinking and driving is "not a game or a laughing matter." He added:
On some real sh*t....drinking & driving is not a game or a laughing matter. People have lost lives because of stupid sh*t [like] this!

Hart starred in the 2011 stand-up comedy special Laugh At My Pain. He has appeared in TV's Undeclared and hosted the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards.
