Prince Death: Did Singer Have A Secret Sister?
Another day, another person claiming they are related to the late Prince and are entitled to his $300 million estate.
In the latest news, a woman from Minneapolis, Venita Jackson-Leverette, has said that her father, not John Lewis Nelson, is actually Prince’s biological father, making her Prince’s alleged half sister. And she has the receipts to prove it. She went as far as filing papers in court and said that she wants “heirship and interest,” in Prince’s estate.
She has requested that the court perform a DNA test in hopes of proving that she and Prince have the same dad. If that is true, only three of Prince’s siblings will share the inheritance with Jackson-Leverette; those with the same mother: Tyka Nelson, Omar Baker and Alfred Jackson, according to Hip Hollywood Saturday.
But of course she isn’t the only woman claiming to be one of Prince’s long lost relatives ever since he passed away oApril 21. Carlin Q. Williams, who is also a convicted felon, says he is Prince’s only living child, and that he is the sole heir of Prince’s fortune.
A man named Norman Yates Carthens has also said that Prince adopted him and that there is a will out there that will prove it. A wman Regina Sorenson also said she and Prince have the same dad.
Still, a will has not been found from Prince and it is said that he didn’t have one to begin with. Meanwhile, Bremer Trust is going to be maintaining his estate.
