Could David and Victoria Beckham be calling it quits?
According to a new report, the superstar couple is currently at odds over where they prefer for their family to reside. While soccer star David prefers to spend his time in Los Angeles, fashion designer Victoria reportedly prefers London.
“Victoria loves London and she’d rather spend all her time there now the house is finally ready,” an insider revealed to Now last week, via a report by OK! Magazine. “But David totally prefers LA. He loves the pace of life in the US and is still having talks about his proposed football team Miami MLS, so he never want to be far from there.”
Although David reportedly desires to stay in the U.S. for career purposes, Victoria has family in mind and feels London is better for their children.
“Victoria wants their daughter Harper to have a proper base now that she’s started school and she won’t like the boys being moved from pillar to post constantly," the source explained. "She’s told David in no uncertain terms that is he’s heading off abroad he’ll be doing it all on his own."
Back in February, as rumors swirled regarding the pair's potential $1 billion divorce, a source spoke to Hollywood Life, claiming David and Victoria were not headed for a split.
“David and Victoria are most certainly not getting divorced,” an insider told the outlet. “The fact is they have never been happier and more in love with each other as they continue to raise their four beautiful kids and divide their time between family and work. The only reason people jump to conclusions that they may be going through rough patches is because they do so much traveling alone because of their work commitments.”
But despite their busy lives, claimed the source, David and Victoria always do their best to stay in close contact.
“They always video chat with one another when they have a minute free,” the insider said. “And are always texting and stay in contact throughout the day whenever they are busy. There are no problems, whatsoever.”
